Alex graduated with a Master’s in Physiotherapy at the University of East Anglia (UK), and his Bachelor’s in Kinesiology at UBC. His experience as a Physiotherapist and previously as a Kinesiologist, has given him the opportunity to treat a wide range of upper and lower extremity injuries from various causes (i.e., workplace, motor vehicle accidents, sport injuries, overuse, aging).
Alex enjoys collaborating closely with his clients in order to empower them to be actively engaged throughout their recovery. He aims to make his sessions a fun and educational experience by simplifying his treatment approach, which involves a combination of active rehabilitation and manual therapy. He has found that this approach allows his clients to better understand, self-manage, and prevent their injuries.
In addition to being a passionate basketball fan, he also enjoys a variety of other sports such as hockey, soccer, and ultimate. Alex also speaks limited Cantonese.
