Aimee’s passion for movement began at a young age through playing a wide range of sports competitively, including basketball, volleyball, rugby, badminton, and track and field. This sparked a deeper interest in how the body moves and heals, leading her to complete a Bachelor of Kinesiology with a Minor in Psychology at the University of British Columbia. Before pursuing her Master of Physical Therapy at UBC, Aimee spent two years working as a rehabilitation assistant and coaching children in sport, gaining a better understanding of movement across the lifespan.

Aimee has worked closely with diverse populations and will support clients of all ages with a variety of injuries and conditions. She takes a comprehensive and collaborative approach, combining manual therapy, individualized exercise, and education to help clients better understand their bodies and move with confidence.

Outside the clinic, you can find Aimee playing volleyball, snowboarding, training at the gym, and working on her golf swing. She also loves trying new activities and discovering new restaurants and cafes around the city.

Derek is dedicated physiotherapist who completed both his Master of Physical Therapy and Bachelor of Kinesiology at the University of British Columbia. He has also earned his AIM Orthopaedic Level 1 Manual Therapy Certification, where he developed a strong foundation in evidence-based practice, clinical reasoning, and individualized treatment planning.

As an avid athlete, Derek enjoys many sports including hockey, golf, basketball, and pickleball, which helped him develop a strong passion for staying active. Like many athletes, he also experienced his fair share of injuries, giving him the opportunity to experience physiotherapy firsthand during his own recovery. He saw how effective physiotherapy could be not only in reducing pain, but also in restoring function, confidence, and independence. These experiences ultimately led him to pursue a career in physiotherapy.

Derek brings a warm, collaborative approach to his practice and enjoys working with people of all ages and activity levels, from recreational athletes and weekend warriors to individuals looking to stay strong and confident in their mobility. He combines hands-on manual therapy with personalized exercise programs, with a strong emphasis on continuous education so clients stay informed and engaged throughout their recovery. His diverse background in both athletic and hospital settings allows him to work with a wide range of clients, including those recovering from joint replacements, stroke, falls, work or motor vehicle accidents, and post-surgical procedures.

No matter where you are starting from, Derek strives to create sessions that are welcoming, empowering, and focused on moving pain-free, restoring function and returning to the activities that matter most.
